Log in issues?

If you are still having trouble logging in, try using the link you got in your email to verify your account. That will automatically log you in. If you get a message saying it could not be found, it means that you are already verfied, but it still logs you in. After you do this a couple times you should be automatically logged in.

I'd just like to say happy birthday to the clan [: As of May 31, vM is officially a year old. We couldn't have done it without any of you, thanks for your cooperation/help towards this clan/family =] I'm very proud of the clan and I'm sure if we keep working as hard as we are we'll have another year under our belts in no time! Trouble Logging In?

If your having trouble logging in after registering, try these:

-If your a Full member, add your tag. /(name).vM'
If a T member, add your tag. /(name).vM-T-

-If you still cant login, try the "Forgot Your Password" process, and they will send you your exact ID and a new password you can change afterwards. I dont know why but I have to login with the name /Cynthia.vM' and it shows up as /Cynthia.vM'. So, make sure you look at how the email shows your username! I know this is a pain, and Im going to talk to sythe about fixing it, but for now we have to deal :/

Quake 3 guide

[1]> Before you turn on your computer make sure you have.

1. Coffee Caffine helps most of us get all jittery and quicker reflex's

2. Cigarettes If you smoke make sure you have them near by because if you suck that day your going to smoke up a storm

3. A mouse and keyboard Im thinking its pretty self explaining... but some people are dumb... A mouse = something you put your hand on and go clickity click usually followed by moving your hand in different directions to which u will learn is quite easy. A keyboard... well without it you cant log in here to read this so your SOL.

4. HeadPhones or Surround sound system these are the main 2 things you need to play really well if you dont have them turn your speakers on a little louder to hear footsteps and noises.

5. Internet connection well pretty clear what this is but once again without it you cant read this so once again your SOL

6. Quake 1/2/3/4 If you dont have these well why are you reading this?.

[2]> Check your My Computer/blah blah/program files/Quake 3 Arena/Base q3>>>q3config. the reason to check this is to easily make binds check your settings that you cant change in game options.

1. To Make your name colourfull there is a code you can use for different colours use this symbol ^ (shift + 6 ) then a number of your choice.

^0 =Black
^1 =Red
^2 =Green
^3 =Yellow
^4 =Blue
^5 =Teal/Cyan
^6 =Pink
^7 =White

[3]> Ok now you may be ready to connect to quake 3 BUT before you do this a few more things make sure you are using the right point release for the servers you want to play if you had the demo before then you will find out once you get full version you cannot play demo servers so you have to get the 1.16 point release to do that.

[4]> If all that is done then you are ready to click quake 3 arena icon to play. now that you are in game click options. and make your settings in there as u wish noone has the same but if you have a slow computer youre going to want to make your gameplay with less detail and that will make your play less "laggy"

[5]> Ok so now you have all your settings done now to find a server that choice is up to you.

[6]> ok so you picked a game and it is connecting now here is the fun part KILLING! anyways sorry to much caffine

1. Now if you chose 1v1 you have to wait your turn to play and when your waiting youre best not to fight with anyone if possible because some of us will be quiet and pwn but who knows

2. Dont be a noob by if your losing disconnect just finish the game off.

3. Dont ***** whine complain that you are getting killed its a matter of... Someone is always better dont bad mouth someone because they may seem to be sucking because everyone has thier bad days.

4. DO NOT CAMP. camping in 1v1 on the map I usually play is q3dm17 camping there is either stay in 1 spot and just spawn kill or to stay on the upper platforms or a new one Ive noticed is a tele camper that refers to someone using the teleport stations to kill over and over again

Clan Colors

Our official clan colors are magenta[aka pink], black and white again. I am happy with the decision, it was our origional colors, and unique. This means I have to redo the forums -.- wish me luck lolL. Also, remember you only have to use these colors in scrims and practices, anywhere else you can do as you please.

PS: If you dont like the decision, keep it to yourself, majority rules so stop being pussies ;] love you guys :P

Rules

Okay, I decided that the clan needs an actual list of rules. With the larger number of members, things could more easily get out of hand. ALL members [including T's] must follow these. Continuously breaking the rules will result in loss of membership to the clan.

RULES:

-do NOT leave scrims as soon as they are finished, no matter what. Give time for SS.

-do NOT leave a scrim without warning.

-do NOT bash/disrespect clans that we beat, or any clan for that matter!

-do NOT accuse people of wallhacking in servers, instead, get evidence and post it in these forums! Then it will be decided.

-do NOT vote yes for people just because they are your friend. We MUST be more strict with voting.

-NEVER give out the ref to the server+do not abuse it. ALWAYS make sure the server is on its TDM config before leaving.

-ONLY give constructive criticism, meaning give people advice, DONT put members or anyone else down!

-Joking around is fine, and defending yourself, but bashing for NO REASON is not allowed,

-NEVER yell at teammates in scrims, it is disrespectful, simple orders are fine.

-you may invite people to POST to join, but NEVER tell people to tag up!

-in scrims, TEAMWORK comes BEFORE SCORES.

-post ALL scrims, LOST or WON.

-Dont leave anything out from vM. You have multiple people playing on one PC, tell us. You have something else to tell but want it in secret, tell the Leader or a Co-Leader. Leave no stone unturned.
